Notes:LOCAL INTELLIGENCE. - Primitive-Methodist Jubilee Camp Meetings. The Primitive Methodists of the Norwich circuit held two jubilee camp meetings on Whit Sunday, at Tharston, near Long Stratton, and at Hainford, in commemoration of the first English camp meeting, held on Mow Cop, Staffordshire, May 31st, 1807. The meeting at Tharston was held in General Sir Robert John Harvey's plantation, a most beautiful and picturesque spot, kindly lent for the occasion by Mr. Duffield; and about three thousand persons, on "Nature's green carpet", beneath the outspreading trees, listened with marked attention to the addresses delivered by the various preachers on the occasion.
